Where did they land?
Hints And Tips
When answering the ArrivalMaps/RelationShips “Where did they land?” question: When your earliest-crossing relations came over, they landed at some specific port of arrival. See if you can determine the port. Similarly to the case for the departure port, you may know, may be able to determine, or may be able to infer the probable arrival point from his/her when the voyage was made and the first-gen’s destination in the new land.
How Shown
In ArrivalMap/RelationShips product: The place at which the “first-gens” arrived will be indicated by the end point of the rendered route of the voyage. It will generally also be added to the Arrival Information text as the Port Of Arrival. See Product Anatomy

If All Else Fails
You may not be able to determine the first-gen’s arrival port with a great degree of certainty. But the routes of immigration and paths to settlement are well known, so the most probable ports of arrival can often be inferred from a family’s destination in their new land. So if all else fails, simply pick a representative port close that makes sense in terms of the first-gen’s probable first destination, or even the current family residence.
